Through our voices and our books, we offered two perspectives—one journey through grief—centered on connection, understanding, and reminding others they are not alone.

Kristin Biggs-McElroy
After walking through my own journey of grief, I became deeply passionate about creating spaces where healing can truly happen—especially for families navigating life after loss.
My son Ahmad inspired me even more when he wrote his first book at just 7 years old, sharing his heart and his story. Together, we created Grief Through Our Eyes, a space where both of us could speak from our experiences and show that healing is possible at any age.
As my journey has continued to evolve, so has my purpose.
The Moms of Forever Bonds Retreat was created from a deeply personal place—held during my son’s birthday and the anniversary of his passing.
It is a space for mothers to come together, honor their children, build meaningful connections, and no longer feel alone in their grief.
